Most calls expire worthless, but you still need to be prepared to sell the stock at the strike price of the call before you do sell a call. So it may give you a little extra risk of missing some profits, however it is many times more profitable then dividend investing and may only take a few minutes a month to manage.

3. Trading Options. One other way to increase the amount of money you make in the stock market is by trading options. Stock options can be extremely profitable if used correctly. Of course there is a learning curve and it may take some time to get the hang of, but it has the highest potential out of all money making strategies in the stock market.These are just a few different methods people use to make money from the stock market.
